Custom Printed rPET Packaging Tape
Printed rPET tape uses recycled polyethylene terephthalate in its film backing. PET has high tensile and puncture resistance, allowing a strong carton-sealing tape to be produced with a relatively thin film. It is an attractive option for businesses looking to reduce virgin plastic use without moving away from pressure-sensitive tape.
Recycled content varies significantly by manufacturer and product grade. Tripak will state the verified percentage for the tape quoted and can discuss supporting certification or technical data where available. Custom printing can add branding, handling instructions or a sustainability message, subject to artwork approval.
